When I need to focus, when I’m bored, and when I hope not when the power goes out, I have the mind to write. By writing, I usually write online, and online, I write in a Google Doc. Now, if the power goes out, something crosses my mind. I would have no choice but to use a notebook and write it down.
Now there’s one thing, ‘Gabby, you have a phone, and there’s a notes app? Why didn’t you use it there?’. The answer is I don’t want to. I see the notes app as one that I put as a grocery list, anything personal.
Suppose I wanted to write something and use it in my imagination. A notebook is the way to go. One notebook I mostly use is 10.5 x In x 8 In a notebook. I know it’s small. Yes, yes, I KNOW there are 70 sheets, but that’s how I write, guys!
Now, let’s focus on the title at hand. I usually write with a pen. Of course, I make mistakes and obviously can’t erase them. But whenever I use a pen, it’s pretty smooth, and it’s easy to hold. With pencils, I always have to change the angle I use with my hand. My handwriting can be crap sometimes. while sometimes my handwriting can be beautiful on one.
Now, pens are one thing. One time, my brother had a different type of pen that he would use to draw. Now, I took one to give it a try, and boy, it was nice. I used one for writing, and it was much more comfortable than a pen. I checked the box one more time, and that turned out to be a 0.5 mm fine-point pen.
When I write with a pencil, I write slower than when I write with a point pen. I write a lot faster when I use any type of pen. I notice I make fewer mistakes when I write with one.
