It can be the day I have a fabulous day. I can relax and finish the work I’ve meant to do. Don’t get me wrong; completing those tasks can really release a weight off your shoulders.
Until a thing called Pollen came on.
I had to attend an event, which was fun because it was an entertainment place. I also reunited quickly with my friend who worked there, so everything went well.
When I got home, everything was fine, I was tired after all the fun, but it was worth it.
Next week…
My throat started to hurt. When I woke up, I always had a water bottle near me in case I felt thirsty. When I got up, my throat felt stuffy. Mind you, I was half awake and half asleep. My mind was already annoyed by the time I realized my throat was swollen. I didn’t want to believe it. I grabbed the water bottle from my stand. I took a drink, and it was…
In fact.
Painful.
The Pollen was worse than last year’s. When I had to go outside, I would wear a mask. I used it to prevent pollen allergies.
Clearly, that didn’t work. And I used medicine to prevent any symptoms from coming.
After a few days, I improved and enjoy life again.
That was March.
This is today.
Pollen came back, and it feels so much worse than it did last time. One of the main symptoms of pollen allergies is a running nose, sneezing, and coughing. And those, to me, last for weeks, almost a month, if I don’t consistently do treatments.
The absolute thing I hate the most about Pollen is that when I sleep, my nose is blocked. I can’t breathe properly. So, I can’t sleep. I normally would take a pill known for temporarily stopping pollen symptoms for about 12 hours. I refrain from taking too much. My body can get used to the medicine, and it suddenly stops working.
As I write this, I can’t help but sniffle—ha! Allergies can be awful. Some people have severe reactions to pollen and other allergens. They experience worse symptoms than I do. I truly hope they feel better and have a wonderful day, evening, or night.
Anyway, that’s what I wanted to write about, thank you for reading!!
